Comprehensive Automotive Mobility Solutions Course for Health Professionals (CAMS-HP)

This continuing education course contains a range of topics pertaining to personal automotive mobility solutions. It will assist the allied health care practitioner in understanding and advocating for individuals seeking automotive vehicle modification solutions, while also teaching practitioners about the unique process involved in evaluating, selecting and purchasing appropriate automotive options.

This course qualifies the attendee for .7 AOTA CEU, 7 CCMC CEH, 7 ADED CEH, 7 AKTA CEH and .6 RESNA CEU (by request only).

Shirley Rolin is a duly qualified Occupational Therapist and graduated from the University of Toronto in 1977. She is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). Shirley has been actively working in the highly specialized field of driver rehabilitation for 20 years. She has trained throughout the United States and Canada to further her knowledge of driver assessment and rehabilitation. She has held the designation Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS) from the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED) since 1999. She was on the Board of Directors of the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists for 2005-2007. Shirley is an active member of the Ontario ADED chapter and has been on the executive for multiple years. She has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of the physical, psychological and cognitive abilities of clients who have been involved in motor vehicle collisions as it pertains to transportation needs. She has lectured and written numerous articles on vehicle modifications and driver assessment. Shirley is presently Director of Driver Rehabilitation Services at CBI Health.

The Provider (NMEDA) reserves the right to cancel the course due to unforeseen/unavoidable circumstances at any time. However, NMEDA will not be responsible for nonrefundable airline and hotel reservations that a participant incurred due to cancellation of the course. NMEDA reserves the right to change a course date, location, or instructor.

With this in mind, we recommend that you include a cancellation clause when booking your flight or hotel reservations, or refrain from making the reservations until one week prior to the scheduled training.
