Comprehensive Automotive Mobility Solutions Course for Health Professionals (CAMS-HP)

This continuing education course contains a range of topics pertaining to personal automotive mobility solutions. It will assist the allied health care practitioner in understanding and advocating for individuals seeking automotive vehicle modification solutions, while also teaching practitioners about the unique process involved in evaluating, selecting and purchasing appropriate automotive options.
This course qualifies the attendee for .7 AOTA CEU, 7 CCMC CEH, 7 ADED CEH, 7 AKTA CEH and .6 RESNA CEU (by request only).

Nathalie Drouin, OTR/L, CDI, CDRS
Nathalie has been an Occupational Therapist for 23 years working in many different areas including acute care, pediatrics and geriatrics. She has been working in an out patient setting for 13 years with 10 years’ experience in the field of Driver Rehabilitation. Nathalie has been an active member of ADED and has served as President of the GA/SC Chapter and as chair for the education committee and has worked in developing the Fundamentals of Driver Rehabilitation, Traffic safety, Disability and vision courses as well as presenting at National conferences. Nathalie was also on the committee to formulate and presented 2 new online courses for MedBridge (Vision and driving and Older driver). Nathalie has also been involved with the ADED/NMEDA collaboration on the creation of the course: Advocating automotive mobility for your clients: Driver rehabilitation and automotive mobility solutions.
Nathalie has been involved with research as a member of a collaborative team including Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation Hospital and Clemson University.

The Provider (NMEDA) reserves the right to cancel the course due to unforeseen/unavoidable circumstances at any time. However, NMEDA will not be responsible for nonrefundable airline and hotel reservations that a participant incurred due to cancellation of the course. NMEDA reserves the right to change a course date, location, or instructor.
With this in mind, we recommend that you include a cancellation clause when booking your flight or hotel reservations, or refrain from making the reservations until one week prior to the scheduled training.
