This continuing education course contains a range of topics pertaining to personal automotive mobility solutions. It will assist the allied health care practitioner in understanding and advocating for individuals seeking automotive vehicle modification solutions, while also teaching practitioners about the unique process involved in evaluating, selecting and purchasing appropriate automotive options.

This course qualifies the attendee for .7 AOTA CEU, 7 CCMC CEH, 7 ADED CEH, 7 AKTA CEH and .6 RESNA CEU (by request only).

Bryan Garrison, RKT, CDRS

Bryan Garrison is a Kinesiotherapist and CDRS working at the James A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, Florida. He has been a member of ADED since 2009 and fell in love with the organization from his first conference in Kansas City.

In 2005 Bryan began working at the VA in Memphis, Tennessee, providing driver rehabilitation services as a CDRS and working in the SCI department. In 2012 he transferred to Tampa, where he was quickly promoted to supervisor of 20 KTs in the Kinesiotherapy department.

Throughout his reputable career, he has served in leadership roles at VA Central Office, and for the MacDill Air Force Base chapter of Omega Psi Phi handling all transactions of the organization as Keeper of Records and Seals.  Bryan has also held leadership roles within ADED having served three years as President of the Florida Chapter. He has volunteered as a mentor for ADED and has also presented at both the NMEDA and ADED conferences. He serves as a member of the Finance committee and volunteers his time where he is needed.

He has promoted driver rehabilitation with presentations to universities, local and government agencies, and in sharing his work experiences with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, encouraging career paths in driver rehabilitation. He has written articles including those on polytrauma, community re-integration and return to driving.

Bryan has been a proven leader to every organization that he has been a part of and welcomes the opportunity to serve as President of ADED.

Activity Cancellation by the Provider
The Provider (NMEDA) reserves the right to cancel the course due to unforeseen/unavoidable circumstances at any time. However, NMEDA will not be responsible for nonrefundable airline and hotel reservations that a participant incurred due to cancellation of the course. NMEDA reserves the right to change a course date, location, or instructor.

With this in mind, we recommend that you include a cancellation clause when booking your flight or hotel reservations, or refrain from making the reservations until one week prior to the scheduled training.

No refunds or transfers will be issued for course cancellations made by the attendee unless sufficient written notice is given.
